主人公は来（きた）るサービス停止の日、自身が渾身を込めて作り上げたＭＡＰ、その居城で静かにその時を迎えようと待っていた。
サービス停止の時刻、２４時を指すその瞬間……
登場人物
遠藤義徳
何処にでも居るような一般人。何の因果か当時発売されたＶＲＭＭＯＲＰＧ、“果て無き地平線”に手を出し、サービス停止の日までやり込み続ける。
ゲームの影響か、存外思考はやわらかく、異常事態でも素直に飲み込むことが出来る。
物語序盤以降影も形もない不遇者。
